You have the right to:

- Receive appropriate information about the patient’s care, subject to privacy and consent.
- Participate appropriately in supporting the patient’s care and recovery.
- Have your privacy and personal information respected.
- Express concerns and provide feedback about the care experience.
- Receive support in maintaining a safe and respectful care environment.
Companion Responsibilities
You play an important role in care:
- Respect the patient, healthcare staff, and other patients.
- Follow hospital visiting hours and companion policies.
- Follow the instructions provided by the healthcare team.
- Follow hospital safety, infection prevention, and security guidelines.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the patient and others.
- Inform the care team of any concerns or changes that may affect the patient.
